In this position you may participate in:

  • Be an active member of a medical affairs team (Respiratory) and assist in the development and execution of local medical strategies.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives across a range of disciplines including medical education, expert engagement, and digital integration.
  • Support the development of fair, scientifically balanced presentations and written materials to address customer needs.
  • Aid in the planning and execution of advisory boards and other consultancies.
  • Advance other projects to support medical affairs activities (i.e., conference planning, document management, HTA submissions, etc.).
  • Lead the collection and reporting of insights from the field medical teams to assist in the development of medical strategies and tactics.
  • Take an active role in organizational meetings across both field and head-office teams.

Qualifications Required:

  • Completed or near completion of an advanced post-graduate degree in the sciences (MSc, PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.).
  • Highly motivated to learn new skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong ability to work through ambiguity and problem solve.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interface with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to lead projects.
  • Proven ability to shift priorities at short notice and work to deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills to work with various databases and MS Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,).
     

Preferred qualification:

  •  University degree in Health Sciences preferred, MSc, MD, PhD, and PharmD an asset.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset but is not required.
  • Background in immunology and/or respiratory disease would be an asset.
