Job Summary:

Carries out the day-to-day operations of the Wellstar MCG Health Parking Division. Works to ensure a consistent and superior level of service to the facility. This position holds responsibility for responding to and enforcing all parking/transportation incidents within/surrounding the facility.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Parking Regulation: Responds and handles incidents that occur on campus per policy and procedure. Handles incidents by themselves or with others. Proactively patrols campus and enforces parking violations. Follows policies and procedures to meet and/or exceed industry standards. Completes all required reports, citations, and logs accurately. Works collaboratively with MCG Health PD regarding criminal activities. Applied mobility devices to violators vehicles.
  • Community Patrolling: Delivers exceptional customer service experience, especially in difficult situations. Provides security escorts for patients, staff, and guests. Utilizes verbal/physical de-escalation techniques when warranted, in accordance with policy/procedure. Executes all interactions with patients, staff, and guests with a professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor.
  • Training: Completes all regulatory and annual training. Completes de-escalation training
  • Ensures Joint Commission Compliance: Assists with proper compliance with visitor management system.
  • Patient and Family Centered Care: Ensures PFCC morals and standards are applied in daily tasks

Required Minimum Education:

High School Diploma and/or GED

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):


IAHSS Basic within 6 months of hire

Required Minimum Experience:

Required: 0 year's experience

Preferred Experience: 2 years in hospital security, parking, law enforcement, and/or military.
