As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Your typical day will involve overseeing the application development process, managing the team, and engaging with stakeholders to make key decisions and provide solutions to problems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related activities.
- Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the defined timelines and budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Manage the application development process, including coding, testing, and deployment.
- Oversee the work of the development team and provide guidance and support.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Make key decisions regarding the design and functionality of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the development and testing phases.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in application development.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of code.
- Document application design, functionality, and processes.
- Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Quality Management (QM).
- Experience with SAP ERP systems and modules.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of ABAP programming language.
- Experience with SAP implementation projects.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and tools.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Quality Management (QM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A BE degree is required.
