As Learning and Development Advisor within the Aviation Safety Training team, you will be responsible for the design, development and production, for Flight Training across classroom, self-paced and digital learning environments.

The Learning and Development Advisor will manage the end-to-end development process to ensure training content and learning methodologies are reflective of safety culture and replicates industry best practice, whilst working with multiple stakeholders to create a blend of self-paced, facilitator lead, workplace and online instruction courses whilst embedding professional adult learning into all training design initiatives.

To be successful within this role, you’ll have: 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Learning and Development/ Program Management role within Aviation or related discipline

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or above

  • Prior experience within Adult Education is desirable

  • Advanced level of strategic and lateral problem-solving skills.

  • High level of self motivation.

  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Broad experience in the design and development and training courses.

  • Project management skills and understanding of project management methodology.

  • Knowledge of change management and risk management processes
