POSITION SUMMARY

The Billing Analyst will support the end- to-end billing process with a focus on enhancing and streamlining all billing-related activities. This position will be instrumental in the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, and metrics for the department. Collaborate with business users, SLAs, and IT, to facilitate report creation and enhancements. Ensure reporting is relevant, meaningful, efficient, to accelerate decision-making. The position requires an individual who possesses critical thinking skills, can support constant change, is flexible, and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate daily invoicing of Sunrun’s customer portfolio – Review of 850K records monthly.
  • Act as an information resource for internal and external customers by responding to and resolving inquiries concerning all invoicing processes, accounts, credits/adjustments.
  • Daily Invoice review to ensure accuracy (Salesforce to Oracle)
  • Review “cases” submitted via Salesforce from various teams to ensure all billing discrepancies are resolved within established timelines.
  • Review daily Credit Analysis in researching and validating credits, ensuring accuracy prior to mailing refunds per Escheatment guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of customer account reconciliations via Case Queue and in working with other teams throughout organization. .
  • Review billing processes for efficiency and recommend changes and improvements, as necessary.
  • Working closely with ERP teams in developing, testing, and processes related to Billing enhancements.
  • Perform other related duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)

  • Minimum 3 years of Billing and/or Accounts Receivable experience required. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.
  • Familiarity with SOX controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to identify problems, process resolution and implement action or solution timely.
  • Working knowledge of CRM applications, preferably Salesforce required.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge is required, including V-Lookups, Macros, etc.
  • Oracle or other accounting platform experience required.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service and time management skills.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$49,293.56 to $65,724.75
