What You'll Do

We’re looking for a Senior Build Engineer passionate about CI/CD, Cloud, and maintaining a world-class, industry leading Build Infrastructure to support projects across the company. You will help to ensure that all projects are running effectively and efficiently on our infrastructure including the smooth release of the new versions of the Unreal Engine, while improving tools and processes across projects.

In this role, you will

  • Collaborate with Epic developers, QA and Production to optimize their respective workflows on the Epic Build Farm
  • Maintain and troubleshoot core Epic build infrastructure - both on premise and on the cloud
  • Develop creative solution to keep the Epic Build Farm operating efficiently and effectively
  • Own and support various tools and processes owned by the team
  • Support Unreal Engine releases

What we're looking for

  • Experience with build systems and pipeline tools management 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Demonstrated proactivity
  • Experience with C#, batch files, shell script or other scripting languages
  • Experience with revision control: Perforce, Git, PlasticSCM
  • Experience with Windows
  • Open to working on Mac and Linux
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, or Google would be a plus

This role is open to multiple locations across North America and Europe (including CA & WA).

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

$150,317$220,465 USD
Washington Base Pay Range
$141,299$207,238 USD
