This position provides leadership and direction to employees involved in Inventory Record Accuracy activities, ensures that robust root cause corrective actions are taken to address issues causing inventory record inaccuracies, and certifies that our count process follows Corporate IRA processes.


Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Translating work instructions to IRA Team Members, and supports their work on a tactical, day-to-day basis
  • Supporting and coaching IRA Team Members to perform counts and reconciliation / synchronization work to support facility IRA goals.
  • Working closely with counters and reconcilers/synchronizers to perform root cause analysis on inventory record inaccuracies and develop and implement corrective actions to improve the overall inventory accuracy at a plant.
  • Providing safety guidance and coaching to team members including a daily safety meeting.
  • Holding performance dialogues, keeping documentation and other aspects of people management for the team including timekeeping.
  • Planning, initiating, and maintaining an IRA management process aligned with Corporate IRA Processes.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for audits and defining/documenting internal processes to ensure sound inventory management.
  • Providing inventory record accuracy expertise to facility projects up to and including running their own projects to address common IRA root causes.
  • Working closely with supply chain leaders and governing committees to reduce and eliminate common causes for record inaccuracy.
  • Root cause corrective action may involve working with key personnel across the business unit organization in a collaborative way to perform creative problem solving and provide accurate reporting to key stakeholders in the organization

• Extensive knowledge of inventory systems including MRP, MTS and the JD System.
• Experience in Material Planning, Logistics and / or Operations is desired.

The primary location for this position is Decatur, IL
