A Brief Overview
Provide SQL Server Production Support by monitoring system performance and availability.
Identify and diagnose issues, then escalate them to the responsible developer for resolution.
Manage change processes by developing and documenting steps to resolve job failures.
Conduct regular monitoring and investigation of database problems, escalating to the appropriate database team or developer as necessary.
Apply proactive and logical thinking to prevent and resolve issues efficiently.
What you will do
Resolve JIRA issues from various teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and fix data/procedures/processes
Implements data validation and quality checks to identify and address data anomalies or errors
Documents data engineering processes, workflows, and systems for reference and knowledge-sharing purposes
Identifies opportunities to streamline data engineering processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of deliverables
Participate in On-Call rotation to monitor and remediate failed jobs and production problems
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
2+ years work experience
Demonstrated experience in SQL Server production support and database management
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective escalation and collaboration with developers
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Education
Bachelor's Degree

The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
