The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Commerce Consultant who can combine deep Adobe Commerce expertise with strong consulting capability. In this role, you’ll help shape, design, and deliver high‑performance digital commerce platforms for our customers. You’ll work hands‑on with Adobe Commerce while also guiding conversations, advising stakeholders, and influencing technical decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build modern commerce applications using frameworks and best practices laid down by Adobe Commerce framework.
  • Manage and optimise Adobe Commerce databases to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, code inefficiencies, and other issues impacting site speed and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors across the Adobe Commerce platform.
  • Integrate Adobe Commerce with third‑party systems, including payment gateways, shipping providers, and external APIs.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, configurations, and customisations.
  • Build, extend, and maintain APIs (GraphQL, REST, SOAP).
  • Write and maintain unit tests, supporting broader improvements in quality assurance practices. 

What We’re Looking For

  • 7–10 years of proven Adobe Commerce development experience, with a strong portfolio of e‑commerce projects.
  • Adobe Commerce Expert Developer or Architect certification.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Commerce Cloud.
  • Hands‑on experience with debugging tools such as Xdebug.
  • Strong skills in PHP, MySQL, Git, Composer, JavaScript, KnockoutJS, OpenSearch, RabbitMQ, REST, GraphQL, and CDN technologies like Fastly.Solid understanding of the end‑to‑end web development lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
  • Working knowledge of front‑end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Experience building custom UI components in the Adobe Commerce Admin.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimisation and caching strategies.
