Job Description
The Strategic Investor Engagement team within the Global Client Group is focused on building high-impact engagement strategies and tailored solutions for Brookfield’s most important institutional clients. The Senior Associate will support the execution of Brookfield’s SIP strategy by driving investor research, internal alignment, and automation efforts to deliver data-backed insights and tailored engagement approaches for strategic clients. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends analytical thinking, client service orientation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Research & Client Understanding – Lead deep-dive investor analyses, applying strong research capabilities to uncover mandates, partnership definitions, and regional investment themes.
Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand LP-specific partnership definitions and identify areas of opportunity for deeper engagement.
Strategic Engagement Planning – Translate insights into engagement roadmaps, aligning stakeholders across Brookfield and ensuring execution milestones are tracked against SIP goals.
Assist in the coordination and planning of SIP events, including regional roundtables, summits, and investor forums.
Contribute to the creation of bespoke engagement solutions, including co-investment access and secondment programs tailored to strategic LP needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Coordinate across business groups, CRMs, and senior sponsors, building alignment on SIP strategies and bespoke client engagement solutions.
Insight Delivery & Communication – Synthesize complex data into concise, actionable updates for leadership, demonstrating the ability to elevate discussions with data-driven perspectives.
Process Improvement & Technology Leadership – Drive automation, data visualization, and centralization of client information, ensuring scalable and efficient delivery of insights across the firm.
Collaborate with Business Management and IT to centralize SIP-relevant data not currently stored in Salesforce and improve investor reporting frameworks.
Develop visual dashboards and tools that provide real-time intelligence to senior sponsors, CRMs, and investment professionals.
Leadership & Initiative – Take ownership of projects and deliverables, showing intellectual curiosity, independent problem solving, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Qualifications / Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, consulting, or strategic planning within the alternative asset management industry.
Deep understanding of the client landscape, preferences, and regulatory considerations across key geographies.
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex investor data into actionable insights.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed global organization.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, ChatGPT and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
Salary Range: $140K - $165K
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations
