Your responsibilities

• Manage and oversee compliance activities for the CFIN (Corporate Finance) SAP S/4HANA application
• Act as SME for regulatory requirements (SOX, Data Privacy, ESG) within an established control framework
• Ensure effectiveness and sustainability of existing controls embedded in CFIN processes and SAP S/4HANA
• Guide stakeholders on proper execution, documentation, and optimization of controls
• Review control design and execution quality, and challenge where improvements are needed
• Monitor compliance status and report to management
• Identify control gaps or weaknesses (process & SAP configuration) and drive remediation
• Support internal and external audits, including SAP-based evidence
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and SAP teams to maintain and enhance compliance framework
• Drive continuous improvement and deliver compliance training and awareness

Your background / expectations

• Experience in compliance/internal controls in SAP finance environments (S/4HANA preferred)
• Strong understanding of SAP finance processes (GL, AP, AR, etc.) and existing control frameworks
• Knowledge of SOX, ITGC, and frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x)
• Experience in control testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement (not only design/implementation)
• Ability to assess control effectiveness and identify improvement areas
• Experience with audits and working with auditors
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
