Supply Chain Operations Accounts Monitoring and Reconciliation (SCO AMR) team is responsible for ownership, investigation and resolving all exceptions in SCO Procure to pay (P2P) payables related Balance Sheet accounts to ensure issues and aging items are resolved before global Balance Sheet Substantiation benchmarks are in breach.

What you will do:

  • Build in-depth end-to-end Payables process expertise and good knowledge of all supported systems and applications, such as P2P, Business Objects, Flexcube, TLM, FAEM and has overall understanding of Finance system infrastructure
  • Ensure that open exceptions on the EMEA payables Core accounts (Vendor Liability; Cash Clearings; other system accounts) are resolved on a timely basis and within the benchmarks established for the account via Reconciliation, Monitoring, Investigation and collaboration with relevant Operations team for Resolution.
  • Perform analysis on data and contact responsible agents (reconcilers/account owners in e-Recon/Financial Control, other SCO teams) in case of irregularity was found and come up with actions plans and drive if necessary.
  • Prepare and approve Ledger Adjustments in line with approval duties delegated by Direct Manager, Team Leader and Controller and applicable policies.
  • Provide global recon utility and other internal control units with comments and feedback on the open reconciliation breaks including root cause, status update and target resolution date

Ideal background:

  • Min. 12 months employment in multinational / shared services / Accounts Payable or Finance environment
  • Very good understanding of general accounting principles
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently and in a team, self-starter, able to prioritize
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Business, Economics, Finance, International Studies, Math, or relevant experience with account reconciliations (e.g. general ledger, balance sheet etc.)
  • Strong English language skills
