Are you looking to kick-start your career in finance and operations within an international company?

We are looking for a Billing Operations Trainee to join our Billing Operations Department at Euronext Securities Porto. This team is responsible for the billing management of Euronext Securities Porto and Euronext Securities Copenhagen, with plans to centralize the billing process for Euronext Securities Milan and Euronext Securities Oslo in the near future.

Euronext Securities Porto is the leading entity in Portugal in post-trade services, offering integrated and flexible solutions at European level, operating as the Custody and Settlement Central Securities Depository (CSD), belonging to the EURONEXT Group and being compliant with:

  • CSD Regulation (CSDR)
  • The Portuguese Legislation on Capital Markets
  • The rules of the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM)

You will primarily be responsible for: ​

- Billing Operations & Process Support:

  • Assist with daily billing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in billing processes
  • Support customer data setup and new product/pricing configurations in the billing system
  • Provide assistance in billing-related customer inquiries and offer support to internal operational teams when needed

- Billing System Development & Testing:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a new Billing platform
  • Assist in testing and validating new functionalities to ensure a smooth transition
  • Support ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at improving billing operations

Your profile:​

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of financial analysis and billing processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Understanding of billing systems and financial reporting tools is a plus

Soft Skills:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in billing operations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset, ensuring high-quality support for clients

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or Technical Degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
