Job Description

Job Summary

Provides Nationwide title services. Responsible for supporting real estate closing transactions by assisting internal and external customers with complex inquiries and providing a high level of customer service to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution in accordance with service standards. Utilizes working knowledge and expertise to respond to routine and non-routine inquiries that may require some research and adaption of response. Accountable for meeting or exceeding hourly SLAs and time-sensitive goals with accuracy and professionalism.


Job Responsibilities

  • Handles internal and external inquiries related to moderately complex processes and transactions
  • Monitors messages and questions received via centralized inbox, systematic work queues or phone, responds to moderately complex inquiries and escalates more complex
  • Coordinates the preparation for certain Title documents, primarily affidavits. Review and collection of all required documentation and required forms for closing
  • Enters detailed and accurate notes into appropriate systems and files documents according to standard procedures
  • Acts as liaison between internal and external parties to ensure requests are effectively resolved.
  • Performs title curative functions for curative issues including the necessary steps to resolve title curative discrepancies within established deadlines
  • Responds to customer inquiries received via phone and email
  • Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
  • Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion
  • Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members
  • Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management


Education

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred


Experience

  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
  • Lien clearing and title resolution experience
  • Previous Curative experience including strong knowledge of title and mortgage documents
