Summary:
As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and establishing both production and non-production cloud environments tailored to project or product requirements. This role includes deploying automation pipelines to streamline the creation and configuration of these environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. The position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to maintain and enhance the platform infrastructure, supporting the evolving needs of the organization while managing the lifecycle of cloud-based environments with precision and care.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of platform capabilities with business objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to automation processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding best practices in platform engineering.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and environment provisioning.
- Experience in designing and deploying automation pipelines for environment setup and configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform-related issues effectively.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the director to develop and implement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Team Management: Overseeing a team of staff members, assigning tasks, setting goals, and evaluating performance.
- Project Management: Managing project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met, and addressing potential bottlenecks.
- Liaison: Acting as a bridge between departmental teams and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic objectives.
- Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
