Role Overview

PTC is seeking a highly experienced Principal Partner Technical Strategist with 10+ years of relevant experience to act as a trusted technical advisor for System Integrators and key partners. This role will influence partner technical direction, guide long‑term capability development, and accelerate adoption of scalable, secure, and enterprise‑grade solutions built on PTC Windchill+ and related PTC platforms.

The role demands deep technical expertise, strategic architectural thinking, and the ability to engage effectively with senior technical leaders and executive stakeholders across partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic technical advisor for System Integrators and key partners, shaping technical direction and long‑term capability development
  • Define and drive partner technical enablement strategies, including tools, reference architectures, delivery patterns, and best practices
  • Lead in‑depth technical reviews of complex partner solution architectures, integrations, and digital transformation programs involving Windchill+ and related PTC solutions
  • Ensure partner‑developed solutions align with PTC SaaS architecture, security standards, performance benchmarks, and extensibility guidelines
  • Guide partners through complex migration initiatives, including transitions from non‑PTC platforms and upgrades to newer versions or SaaS releases
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex architectural, integration, or SaaS‑related partner issues
  • Collaborate closely with PTC Product Management, R&D, and Field leadership to help influence roadmap alignment based on partner and market insights
  • Evaluate partner maturity across delivery models, technical governance, and solution repeatability
  • Define and recommend advanced enablement journeys, certifications, and long‑term capability‑building plans for partner architects and senior engineers
  • Guide partners in establishing enterprise‑grade labs, proof‑of‑concepts, and demo environments aligned with real‑world customer scenarios
  • Proactively evangelize new platform capabilities, architectural advancements, and technical guidance to partner leadership

Your Day‑to‑Day

  • Engage with partner chief architects and senior technical leaders
  • Review, challenge, and influence large‑scale solution architectures and transformation initiatives
  • Provide strategic guidance on SaaS adoption, extensibility, platform scalability, and long‑term evolution

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise architecture, partner enablement, or solution engineering roles
  • Deep expertise in PTC Windchill architecture, with strong working knowledge of Codebeamer, Creo, and related PTC solutions
  • Proven experience designing large‑scale, secure, and highly scalable enterprise solutions using PTC technologies
  • Strong command of SaaS architecture, cloud‑native design, security models, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
  • Extensive experience supporting complex pre‑sales cycles, including architecture validation and executive‑level technical discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives and partner leadership
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity
  • Proven ability to manage multiple strategic partner engagements simultaneously
