The Manager, Data & Analytics, Transformation & Strategy team, serves as the analytical backbone for the Transformation & Strategy team that enables enterprise-wide value creation, operational excellence, and accountability. This role embeds rigorous, data-driven discipline across all transformation initiatives by defining measurable value at stake, developing robust financial and operational KPIs, and ensuring transparent tracking of outcomes. This role partners closely with the CTSO and cross-functional leaders to build business cases, quantify financial impacts, identify improvement opportunities, and provide actionable insights that guide prioritization and execution. This position is essential in elevating Ryan’s transformation program to best-in-class standards through analytics, strategic insight, and performance measurement.

This position is designated as a hybrid role, requiring regular in-office presence (3–4 days per week) at either our Plano or Galleria office.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

  • Builds analytic standards, structures, and repeatable frameworks that uplift capability across the Transformation & Strategy team.
  • Partners with stakeholders to clarify objectives, align on measurable outcomes, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Translates complex analyses into clear, concise insights that enable leaders to understand risks, opportunities, and required actions.
  • Supports change adoption by helping teams understand the performance implications of new processes, technologies, and operating models.

Client:

  • Collaborates with internal client groups to identify value-creation opportunities, quantify impact, and develop robust financial models supporting initiative prioritization.
  • Designs and delivers executive-ready dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to improve visibility into performance, compliance, and value realization.
  • Enhances the quality, clarity, and credibility of all business cases by incorporating rigorous data validation, sensitivity analyses, and scenario modeling.
  • Partners with Finance, IT, Operations, and other functional leaders to ensure data accuracy, alignment on assumptions, and effective performance tracking across initiatives.

Value:

  • Leads development of value-at-stake sizing, benefits modeling, and transformation business cases to ensure the organization focuses on the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Defines, implements, and maintains KPI frameworks that measure financial, operational, and client outcomes across the transformation portfolio.
  • Tracks and reports benefit realization, ensuring that projected value is achieved, risks are identified early, and course corrections are recommended.
  • Conducts advanced analysis to identify performance trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities that strengthen enterprise scalability, efficiency, and controls.
  • Ensures strict data quality and governance standards within transformation analyses to support reliable decision-making and long-term measurement discipline.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, economics, engineering, data science, analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or transformation analytics roles, ideally within professional services industries.
  • Demonstrated experience building business cases, performing financial modeling, and measuring operational and financial outcomes.
  • Proven success collaborating across functional areas and influencing decision-making in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience supporting transformation programs, performance improvement initiatives, or value-realization efforts strongly preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Experience with emerging analytical tools and techniques, including automation, machine learning, and AI-enabled insights
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations and visual communication of insights.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for KPI tracking and dashboard creation.
  • Experience working with analytics platforms, data warehouses, or BI environments preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capability, with the ability to distill complexity into clear insights.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and experience developing robust business cases.
  • Ability to design, implement, and track KPIs and value-realization frameworks across multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives for senior leaders.
  • Strong project management skills, including organizing, prioritizing, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functional groups and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • High degree of curiosity, initiative, and drive, with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational rigor.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working directly within a Transformation Office, Enterprise PMO, Strategy function, or Value Realization team.
  • Exposure to digital transformation, process optimization, or technology-enablement initiatives.
  • Experience with performance measurement frameworks, ROI analysis, or benefits-tracking methodologies.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and supporting adoption of new processes or operating models.
  • Knowledge of professional services business models or client-service delivery environments.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’s license required. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting or standing while working.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
  • Target in-office location (Dallas and/or Plano): at least 3-4 days per week
  • Independent travel requirement: 10%.
