Roles & Responsibilities:
The Talent Specialist position at Lincoln International provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment in an international setting. Lincoln is seeking a Talent Specialist to join the global Talent Team to support the administration, organisation and coordination of Lincoln’s global and regional talent and development processes. This role will be highly integrated into the global Talent Team, with direct reporting into the Talent Development Manager based in Frankfurt, and ultimate reporting into the global Talent Team based in the U.S.
Based in Frankfurt, Germany the Talent Specialist will serve as a key member of Lincoln’s global Talent Team and will be accountable for the coordination and process support within the following key areas:
- Training and development
- Performance management and rewards
- Talent data and analytics within the European Region.
More specifically, for the training and development element of this role, we envision the Talent Specialist to be tasked with the following:
- Coordinating and ensuring successful execution of Lincoln’s training curriculum, both delivered in person and remotely, including various longer programs (e.g., Analyst Foundation Program, Associate Acceleration Program, Director Leadership Development Program), including:
- Supporting the Training Needs Analysis flowing from the performance review process to follow up actions
- Setting up live and on-demand training sessions on Lincoln’s Learning Management System (“LMS”), including content and materials updates
- Supporting all planning activities including assigning participants, briefing trainers, monitoring subscription levels, communicating with participants leading up to courses and coordinating local training sessions with Office Managers as appropriate
- Coordinating post-training follow ups (e.g., course evaluations, attendee statistics, invoicing and cross- charges)
- Assigning new joiners to onboarding learning paths and sharing relevant training materials with new joiners
- Coordinating travel, lodging and logistics for attendees of longer European programs, as needed
- Supporting the execution of Lincoln University, the firm’s global corporate university, through Lincoln’s LMS including:

- Liaising with global colleagues on new content creation / local execution
- Maintaining accurate system reporting in the LMS to enable year-end reporting on individual employee training activities
- Tracking and reporting on Lincoln University outcomes (e.g., local adoption, utilization, )
- Serving as the European subject matter expert on Lincoln University and the LMS, including answering any employee questions
- Ensuring user accounts are created automatically in Lincoln University via system integrations and ensuring any changes in user titles and roles are being reflected on a timely basis
- Training employees on proper use of the LMS
For the performance management and rewards element of this role, we envision the Talent Specialist to be tasked with the following:
- Supporting Lincoln’s Performance Management System including:
- Assisting in the execution of performance management processes in Europe including performance cycle set up, administration and reporting
- Managing the organiza4tion of European employee review meetings including preparing review meeting materials, scheduling review meetings, tracking review meeting completion and creating reports as appropriate
- Supporting in the execution of other employee programs (e.g., Champion Program, Mentorship Program, DEI, Alumni Program)
- Supporting HR leaders in certain administrative aspects of the Lincoln’s compensation process including:
- Liaising with the global compensation team to build relevant compensation related files and analyses Supporting the McLagan Salary Survey input for Europe, liaising with the global compensation team
- Assisting with administration of documentation related to compensation Uploading key changes to compensation terms and status onto the HRIS
For the talent data and analytics element of this role, we envision the Talent Specialist to be tasked with the following:
- Acting as the data steward for European data on the HRIS
- Ensuring accuracy of all European information within the HRIS
- Running key headcount reports
- Handling on/offboarding in the system and managing workflows so that leavers and new joiners are reflected timely and accurately
- Supporting other talent related analytics as required:
- Collaborating with talent team members to collect, analyze and visualize data related to talent acquisition, staffing, employee engagement, capacity utilization, employee productivity, performance management, professional development, turnover and other talent-related topics
- Supporting the running of employee surveys, including follow up analyses as required
- Preparing reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to internal stakeholders including talent team members, senior leadership, group and office leaders
Qualifications:
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
Professional and Cultural Characteristics:
- One to two years of experience in HR-related coordination and administration, training, development or another relevant field, gained in an international, multi-country spanning context
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an HR- or business-related field
- Prior experience within analytics or an interest in data management
- Comfortable within HR Administration on an HRIS across various countries
- IT literate and comfortable working with HR-related systems and tools (ideally Workday and/or Personio), with exposure to LMS and Performance Management System software
- Proficient Excel skills – ability to manipulate data with pivots and graphs
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and handle highly confidential information in a professional manner
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and banking staff as it relates to talent analytics
