Job Overview:
The Manager for Issue Triaging and Process Optimization will be responsible for optimizing the end-to-end process for issue triaging, improving batch density, and enhancing carrier delivery rates within the Last Mile operations. This role will involve developing and refining processes, driving metric improvements, and managing configuration accuracy to ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Tech, GoLocal, and Trip Planning, to identify and prioritize business problems, propose solutions, and drive execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process Playbook Development: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for drivers to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
• Program Issue Triaging: Lead the triaging of issues within the program, ensuring that problems are identified, analyzed, and resolved promptly.
• Metric Improvement: Drive improvements in key performance metrics such as carrier delivery rate and batch density. Conduct field visits to understand challenges related to attempted and non-attempted deliveries and develop actionable proposals to address these issues.
• Batch Density Optimization: Collaborate with Trip Planning, GoLocal, and Product teams to prioritize and address business challenges associated with dedicated delivery vans. Implement technical enhancements to increase batch sizes and improve overall delivery efficiency.
• Configuration Management: Ensure accuracy in configuration management by working closely with Trip Planning teams. Make necessary configuration requests to maintain operational integrity and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects with significant impact on the organization.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. Experience in understanding and addressing root causes of operational issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working across various teams, including operations, technology, and business development, to drive improvements and implement solutions.
• Process Optimization: Demonstrated experience in process optimization and continuous improvement within a logistics or last-mile delivery environment.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with technical tools and systems used in configuration management and process optimization.
• Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within delivery station or logistics operations.
Preferred Experience:
• Last Mile Operations: 2-3 years of prior experience in last-mile delivery station leadership, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Network Leadership: Experience in managing or leading operations across a delivery station region or network.
Travel Requirement: This role will require travel approximately 30-50% of the time.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
