Project Role Description : Analyzes, develops, and improves workflows. Identifies inefficiencies in existing processes and proposes solutions to optimize effectiveness. Collaborates with business users to identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases. Design continuous monitoring and feedback collection to help them refine processes over time.

Summary:
As the vital link between KN s IT capabilities and our business objectives, you partner with both Top Management and the business community to review existing business processes, look for opportunities to optimize these processes and then be able to easily configure the IT system and/or build the required business workflows to meet the organization s needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Helping business implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a use-case and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
- Assisting in requirements gathering, analysis, testing of incoming user requests, including effectively documenting and articulating tactical and strategic requirements to management, business stakeholders, and developers for developing solutions.
- Producing business process diagrams, process maps, system diagrams, logical data models, business requirements, gap analysis, report specifications and other documentation as required for use-case analysis, planning and design.
- Identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
- Other one-time tasks assigned by Manager.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- At least 3-5 years hands-on experience as a business analyst, gathering/defining business requirements and re-engineering business processes.
- Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills in English. Outstanding interviewing, listening and negotiation skills are required.
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
- The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.
- Business case development.
- Modeling techniques and methods.
- Experience in facilitating discussions, leading focus groups with various levels of end-users, including senior management.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills, innovative and creative approach.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Structured and methodical way of working and professional appearance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Business Requirement analysis.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
