Accounting & Reporting Accountant, ANZ (Based in Wacol, Brisbane)

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Business Process team as Accounting & Reporting (A&R) Accountant, ANZ. 

This role reports to the A&R Manager, APeC based in Wacol, Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks and manage month-end activities
• Ownership of the daily accounting activities and ensuring data integrity to enable accurate reporting
• Process, analyse and reconcile financial information
• Complete investigation, commentary and explanations on income and expense variations
• Assist in completion of monthly and end-of-year financial accounting reporting requirements meeting strict deadlines
• Provide assistance with budgeting processes
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Actively involved in Risk Controls Management
• Closely cooperate with the business departments of multiple companies within the region, provide financial professional support
• Liaise with external tax consultants on monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing.
• Internal Audit and Compliance: Cooperate with the company's internal audit work
• Partner closely with APAC GSS team in Shanghai on routine transactions
• Other adhoc reports / analysis as requested​

About You

• Degree in accounting or equivalentan Assist,,providingreports/analysisad hoc
• 3 - 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
• SAP experience is an added advantage
• Good in Excel and preferably with an interest in Power BI, AI-related tools
