This Sales Director will primarily be responsible for achieving defined sales targets through supportive management of the sales team. You will also be responsible for supporting the Vice President with staff recruitment, development and site financial management. Duties include but not limited to;
Deliver the required sales targets for the site by supporting and motivating staff to achieve performance goals
Assist in providing appropriate training, education and performance monitoring for sales team
Support marketing programs and educate sales staff on the marketing strategies
Follow and represent the Company in an ethical, moral and professional manner with adherence to industry and Company best practices
Actively participate in management duties, training sessions and sales meetings and provide on-site support to sales employees
Show integrity in all aspects of the position by doing the right thing, taking responsibility and delivering on the promise
Display leadership values by ensuring effective communication and respecting your peers and managers; support others within the team and empower each other wherever possible
About You...
You will have previous Timeshare/Vacation Ownership sales background with experience in supporting and managing a successful high volume sales team. You will have successful proven track record in achieving sales targets. Sound leadership ability including motivating, coaching and performance management accompanied with effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Timeshare/Vacation Ownership sales experience is essential to this role
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for interviewing, onboarding & training new team members.
Conducts ongoing trainings.
Partner with department leaders to coach and support new hires.
Conduct weekly training for reps that are underperforming.
Welcome guests warmly to the resort and provide them with a brief overview of the resort, resort activities and services, and things to do in the area.
Support new technology rollouts and sales initiatives through becoming a SME (Subject Matter Expert).
Responsible for booking guests to attend an owner update both by phone and face to face.
Responsible for maintaining an excellent culture and environment.
Maintain above budget penetration rate of assigned guests and ensure that the overall penetration of the site is above the budget.
Maintain department standards of production and work as a team player.
Prepare additional reports deemed necessary by management.
Ensure any pertinent information related to Marketing is properly and timely disseminated.
Coordinate with sales regarding new/changes in marketing programs (booking/gifting policies).
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma required. College degree in related field preferred.
Successful Wyndham Destinations marketing experience required
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be highly motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
Problem solving ability.
Ability to effectively coach, counsel and motivate direct reports.
Provide exceptional customer service (i.e. must be able to communicate in a positive and effective manner when dealing with upset owners).
Ability to negotiate effectively.
Working knowledge of marketing databases.
Ability to lead by example.
Must have Timeshare/ Vacation Ownership Experience.
Valid Real Estate License in the state of Oregon
