About the Role

To ensure all required financial reporting and analysis are provided within AIA Group timely, accurately.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and review submissions from local business divisions for IFRS, HKIO, HKFRS, Bermuda or management reporting.
  • Ensure all required financial reporting and analysis are provided to Group Office timely, accurately, without compromising on the quality and in accordance to AIA Group accounting policies and its related regulations.
  • Ensure information received from the local business divisions aligns with Group standards for both financial and management reporting.
  • Assist supervisors to prepare analytical review and other financial reporting deliverables for IFRS, HKIO, HKFRS, Bermuda or management reporting.
  • Support supervisors in projects for any development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls and functionality changes to existing systems in relation to the various reporting templates, financial information and other reporting deliverables to improve current processes, controls and overall efficiency of the team.
  • Support supervisors to update Business Process Manuals, Control Checklist and Training Materials as a when new improvement identified, implemented and communicated, at least on an annual basis.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet financial reporting and/or other requirement

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accountancy with professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience gained within a multinational environment with regional exposure and/or accounting and auditing experiences in a big-size accounting firm
  • Knowledge of IFRS, SAP/BPC or equivalent experience preferred
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines
  • Excellent PC skills especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
