Department Overview

The AUS is developed by a team of passionate individuals dedicated to transforming Motorola customer systems through innovative upgrade solutions. We are embarking on an exciting journey to build the next-generation ASTRO Upgrade Server, a containerized, cloud-connected platform that will enable quick and reliable delivery of software to our customers. We are seeking talented individuals who are passionate about software development and eager to contribute their skills and expertise to our team.

Job Description

• Developing new AUS features including frontend and backend components

• Developing automatic integration tests

• Documenting the work

• Testing and validating the outcome

• Closely cooperating with various teams within and outside of the Cracow site

Last but not least, we work in SCRUM and a fully flexible hybrid model.

Basic Requirements

• The practical knowledge of Linux (RHEL preferred) operating systems from the user perspective

• Practical knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and web development(Angular)

• At least theoretical knowledge of the paradigms of containerized solutions and virtualization

• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field or similar

• Very good troubleshooting skills, an analytic approach to given tasks and problems

• Ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies

• Ability to collaborate with onsite and offsite teams

• English language skills at the level allowing efficient communication

• Availability to work Full Time.

• At least one year cooperation (Contract of Employment only)

• Availability to work in our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82) - 2 days a week.

Familiarity with some of the following will be a plus:

• Experience with GIT and JIRA

• Experience with Jenkins and/or pipeline build & integration tests in general

• Practical knowledge of Node.js and/or Java

• Knowledge of networking protocols and network services
