GEICO is looking for a Manager, Policy Contracts & Forms. Under general direction, they will lead a team to develop and implement new forms and enhancements to existing forms that enhance our competitive position. The Manager will develop associates and holds them accountable for projects of varying complexity. Additionally, they will serve as a subject matter expert on policy language and provide expert consultation to stakeholders throughout the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Interviews and/or approves job applicants for employment. Conducts and/or review associate performance appraisals. Initiates or approves salary adjustments, performance ratings, and other personnel changes. Counsel associates and takes disciplinary action or terminates the employment of associates as appropriate.
Leads efforts to research and implement countrywide and state-specific forms changes that are compliant with state laws and regulations.
Creates processes that support efficient research, development and implementation of forms enhancements.
Develops and creates forms filing strategies in collaboration with product management.
Coordinates between key stakeholders including legal, claims, compliance, and product to attain input and buy-in related to forms changes and enhancements.
Provides expert consultation on forms for the respective line of business for business partners across the enterprise.
Manages a team of policy forms analysts and provides guidance and training on assigned projects.
Holds team accountable for creation, implementation, and communication of forms-related projects.
Supports development of associates and fosters knowledge sharing across the team.
Solves complex problems and thinks critically and analytically to support business objectives.
Develops strong working knowledge of quoting and policy systems within the team.
Fosters advanced knowledge and understanding of insurance products, coverages, forms and contracts, and regulations.
Build understanding of the competitive landscape, stays informed of competitor contract updates, and recommends contract updates to enhance our position in the marketplace.
Location: HYBRID – Individual must be able to work onsite 3 days per week out of one of the locations listed within the job posting.
Annual Salary
$101,475.00 - $189,625.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
