Role Summary
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery orchestration of strategic initiatives for the Genius 
Point of Sale (POS) platform. This role leads program management across the complete product delivery lifecycle, ensuring 
alignment between Product, Engineering, Boarding & Billing, Go-to-Market (GTM), and operational stakeholders.
Acting as the central program lead, the Senior Program Manager coordinates multiple workstreams, manages dependencies, 
drives execution governance, mitigates risks, and ensures successful delivery of business outcomes from concept through 
launch and adoption.
The role does not directly manage software development delivery activities performed by Technical Program Managers (TPMs) 
or GTM execution managed by Project Managers, but is accountable for integrating and coordinating all workstreams into a 
cohesive delivery plan.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
• Own the end-to-end delivery plan for strategic Genius POS initiatives.
• Establish and maintain integrated program plans spanning all workstreams and milestones.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Boarding & Billing, GTM, Operations, Support, Finance, 
Compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure programs remain aligned with business objectives, customer commitments, and release timelines.
Delivery Governance
• Create and manage program governance structures, steering committees, status reviews, and executive reporting.
• Track progress against milestones, critical dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions.
• Facilitate prioritization discussions and resolution of cross-functional blockers.
• Escalate risks and delivery concerns appropriately and proactively.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams including:
• Technical Development (led by TPMs)
• Boarding & Billing
• Product Management
• Go-to-Market activities (led by Project Managers)
• Operational Readiness
• Training and Support Readiness
• Compliance and Regulatory requirements
• Vendor and Partner dependencies
Planning & Execution
• Lead program planning activities from initiation through launch.
• Develop integrated roadmaps and milestone plans.
• Manage interdependencies across teams and workstreams.
• Monitor scope changes and assess delivery impact.
• Ensure readiness criteria are achieved before launch.
Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary communication point for program status and health.
• Provide concise executive-level reporting and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships across leadership and delivery teams.
• Drive decision-making through data and objective analysis.
Continuous Improvement
• Drive lessons learned and post-implementation reviews.
• Contribute to Product Delivery operational excellence practices.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience in software, SaaS, payments, fintech, retail technology, or 
related industries.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and product delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex dependencies across technical and business workstreams.
• Strong risk management, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS), payments, commerce, retail, or hospitality technology platforms.
• Experience working with global and distributed teams.
• Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies and product operating models.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft 365, and reporting tools.
