Operations Supervisor
We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Instrumentation and Controls team! As Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for effectively planning, directing, and coordinating work activities of the Manufacturing, Test, and Repair teams. You will supervise production personnel as we build, test, and repair analog electronic equipment to fulfill our customers’ needs. You will work with other departments and/or functions to ensure our finished products meet requirements and compliance with regulations and standards to include in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, NQA-1, ISO-9000). You will ensure that work is performed using released planning and engineering documents, drawings, procedures, and specifications in order to plan both workload and human resources needed. You will also maintain a continuous check on departmental activities regarding production, efficiency, schedules, and budget. In addition, you will anticipate and mitigate production bottlenecks and generate periodic status reports to keep program managers and senior managers informed.

Salary Information: $77,500 - $105,00 plus bonus

Your Challenge:
Plans and coordinates production and repair activities to meet operational goals, quality, and cost objectives with extended hours and weekend support as necessary
Implement safety, health, environment, and quality requirements across the department.
Performs JHA on existing and new processes.
Controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor
Evaluates capacity constraints and develops schedules for all production and repair work
Direct supervision of manufacturing personnel, monitoring timekeeping, productivity, and absence
Supervise and train personnel to work in compliance with all procedures
Review existing processes and equipment and make improvements, as necessary, to result in increased team efficiency.
Interact with Engineering and Quality Departments as needed to meet monthly delivery schedules.
Responsible for safety practices and procedures and implementing corrective actions
What You Bring:
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to drive cultural change and operational discipline.
Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP systems, particularly Syteline, is preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Great attention to detail
Capable of making managerial decisions based on inputs provided by subordinates, peers, and consistent with company’s goals and policies.
