Salary Range: $49,000 - $52,000

Sick Time: 3.7 hours each pay (paid every two weeks).

BASIC FUNCTION AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Associate Director of Admissions, Recruitment & Accelerated Programs serves as a member of the Admissions team and Accelerated Programs leadership team. It will also assists with the development and implementation of operational and strategic initiatives to meet departmental and enrollment goals. This position will extensively emphasize customer service and training, focusing on CRM management, strategy implementation, and student engagement. This position will assist with the supervision of accelerated program, recruitment and admissions staff. Additionally, the part time student services coordinator position will directly report to this position. This position will assist with monitoring key performance metrics (WIGs) weekly, monthly, and yearly. It will work directly with the Director of Recruitment, Admissions, and Accelerated Programs to pivot strategies and ensure staff has the professional development opportunities needed to be successful in their roles.

Leadership and Administration

  • Supervise Student part time Services Coordinator position and help determine daily/weekly priorities and anticipated workloads.
  • Represent campus at Statewide Admissions or ASAP Director meetings in the director’s absence.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with faculty and staff across the campus regarding Campus Visits, Enrollment Events, CRM management, etc.
  • Assist the Director of Admissions in strategizing innovative ways of enhancing the student journey and experience regarding communication planning across mediums (texting, emailing, phone calls, visits, etc.)
  • Provide meeting, training, and cross-training opportunities for staff.
  • Assist with triage of student issues and providing resolutions aligned with students’ goals and the College’s policies & procedures
  • Remain up-to-date and current with all processes as it relates to enrollment and recruitment
  • In collaboration and cooperation with the Director of Admissions, Recruitment and Accelerated Programs, ASAP Statewide Director, and other System Office leadership, develops goals and objectives related to accelerated programs that are in line with statewide initiatives and provides leadership in the implementation of these goals and objectives

Student Engagement

  • Participates in recruitment and community-branding activities, including campus and virtual visits, monthly information sessions, and community events. Assists with individual and group admissions visits and engages in enrollment activities to build relationships with students throughout the application, enrollment, and registration process
  • Assists director of admissions with setting goals related to student engagement on a yearly, semester, and monthly basis
  • Provides recommendations to improve student, faculty, and staff understanding and satisfaction with all

processes and procedures related to admissions by sharing information with Director, Vice Chancellor, and Chancellor as appropriate

  • Meets with ASAP students at least once each 8-week term and Accelerate students once per semester for individual mentoring and academic planning.
  •  Assist with design and implementation of enrichment activities scheduled for ASAP Fridays and Accelerate first Mondays

Technical Support/Usage/Training

  • Ensure that regular and ongoing training workshops are conducted so that all admissions and accelerated program team members are informed and up to speed on processes, tools, and presentations
  • In alignment with campus, unit, and department goals, maintain and update department-owned communication plans for segmented populations within the College’s CRM system
  • Assist with troubleshooting as it relates to CRM, SV messaging, and admissions processes within SIS (Banner)
  • Respond to internal requests for data, reports, and enrollment information while providing training and guidance on effective data usage and analysis

Provides consistent training on best practices related to case management by segmented student populations (i.e. New First Time, Transfer, Readmit) while leveraging the College’s CRM, technology, and communication tools

Minimum Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree required with demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects

2. Three years of relevant recruitment, case management, and project management experience in higher education are required.

3. Two years of successful prior demonstrated leadership experience

4. Experience with automated financial aid information or an information management system is required.

5. Proven organizational skills, attention to detail

6. Demonstrated commitment to working on a team, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service and

communication skills required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communications; be able to identify or acknowledge departmental needs, research and report viable options, prepare documents, expedite processing, track and verify processes and follow up without direct supervision; ability to set priorities, manage time effectively, handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse student population; strong customer service orientation; strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Handle difficult situations and work well under stress.
