Supply Chain Specialist based in Bangkok

What will you be doing?

  • Accountable for all activities management including demand and supply planning, liaise with suppliers, distributors & forwarders, and other internal collaborators.
  • Provide support through planning activities & process and in accordance to company objectives.
  • Responsible for supply chain reporting and analysis and provides weekly/monthly management reports on status of activities.
  • Coordinate monthly S&OP process to understand the latest market requirement and ensure timely deliveries and fulfills customer expectations. Updates monthly consensus demand and supply forecasts.
  • Manages the replenishment and inbound Inventory is in line with the forecast or demand. Responsible for the PO activities including creation of PO, regular and expediting deliveries. Resolve "Stock-Out", "Sales Spikes", Invoice and Supplier related discrepancies, Parts Received discrepancies & etc.
  • Collate & provide stock situation (current available on-hand stocks) and incoming shipment information.
  • Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and monitoring performance metrics for supply chain operations. This includes evaluating stock levels, service levels, and forecast accuracy. Take appropriate measures to address any identified gaps, such as reducing stock-outs, improving inventory turns, and shortening lead times.
  • Work closely with sales & marketing improve inventory turns - minimize excess & obsolete inventory and improve service levels.
  • Analyze and optimize the usage of existing inventory.
  • Organize and coordinate with teams for the regular counting the warehouse and consignment stock.
  • Make sure credit note, FOC and discount records had been filed and be approved properly under as approval matrix.
  • Familiarize yourself with 3PL operations and maintain a watchful eye on performance metrics, including cost analysis.
  • Manage inventory counting and able to reconcile between S&N and 3PL system.
  • Optimize and expertise use of ERP and MRP, forecasting, business warehouse software for data analysis & support information.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Payment tracking and submission of bills, credit notes and other related documents/reports etc to Finance for processing payments in a time bound manner.
  • Coordination with other Supply Chain Team members to provide data as per the agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with various departments (i.e., regulatory, sales, finance, etc.) or countries for inputs & enquires pertaining to supply chain.

What will you need to be successful?

Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in Imports, Exports, SCM operations and warehouse or work with 3rd party logistics provider.
  • At least 5 years of relevant supply chain & inventory experience.
  • Knowledge of shipping documents.
  • Experience in medical device industry an advantage.
  • Experience in using PC based software packages, WORD, EXCEL, Outlook and familiar with ERP systems and processes.
