Job Opportunity: Intercompany Accountant (1-Year FTC)

We are seeking a skilled Intercompany Accountant to join our finance team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and treasury operations.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing

• Review and verify intercompany transaction details.
• Determine appropriate accounting entries (GL accounts, cost centers, transaction types).
• Post journals and prepare accruals for recurring transactions.
• Ensure timely expense recognition and liaise with accounting contacts.

Reconciliation

• Conduct preliminary and final intercompany reconciliations.
• Resolve reconciling items within month-end timelines.
• Prepare formal balance sheet reconciliations

Treasury

• Reconcile foreign currency bank statements against GL and clearing accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and propose resolutions.
• Load exchange rates and post bank journals.
• Support statutory audits and resolve queries.

Audit

• Assist with internal and external audits as needed.

• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and across global teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting.
