CME Group is currently looking for a Post-Trade Client Services & Risk summer intern. This candidate will assist the Post-Trade Client Services & Risk on day-to-day activities in support of our clearing applications and customer support. The Post-Trade Client Services & Risk Intern provides primary-level problem resolution & customer service to all current & potential clients/

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Develop an understanding of CME Clearing infrastructure and internal operational processes and applications, such as account set-ups, trade submission workflows, and support of OTC clearing.

  • Assist in solving problems, testing, and creating documentation across all asset classes/initiatives.

  • Provide excellent customer service across all asset classes and initiatives. Provide clear/professional responses to client queries, provide day to day support of customer questions.

Skills / Software Requirements:

  • Must work well in a team environment

  • Self-motivated and curious individual

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel preferred

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS

  • Majors in relevant business degree or applicable STEM fields preferred, but not required.

CME Group is committed to offering a competitive pay package for our employee interns. The pay range typically applicable to our intern roles is $21.68--$36.10. Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
