Project Engineer Intern

We are looking for a Project Engineering Intern to join our Target Rock team in the Project Engineering Department! As a Project Engineering Intern, you will assist project engineers with research and disposition of product nonconformances, material transfers, maintenance of bills of materials, project releases and other standard production work. You will also coordinate various projects with the Project Engineers as directed by the Project Engineering Supervisors.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY.

Hourly pay: $18-22 an hour

Your Challenge

  • Research and disposition of product nonconformances
  • Evaluate material transfer requests
  • Review bills of materials and project releases
  • Perform detailed review of production test data
  • Assist in project closeout activities, including certification data sheets and production test data summary reports
  • Interface with Manufacturing, Assembly & Test, Welding and Quality Control departments to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisors

What You Bring

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Actively pursuing Four (4) year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Nuclear
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Mathcad
