Job Description:

Greif Inc., a leading supplier of industrial packaging products and services with a global footprint across more than forty countries and 250 locations, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Execution Excellence within our Enterprise PMO (EPMO).

Reporting to the VP of Strategic Business Transformation & Execution Excellence, you will be the catalyst who transforms enterprise vision into reality, ensuring our most ambitious goals are planned, structured, and delivered with surgical precision and financial integrity.

This is a role for a builder operator, a hands-on leader who thrives on mastering the details, mentoring teams through the "how," and setting the gold standard for disciplined delivery in a fast-paced global landscape. As the Head of Project Delivery, you will lead a function that is lean, scalable, and relentlessly focused on driving optimal outcomes with high-impact results.

Responsibilities:

Execution Excellence & Delivery Discipline

  • Set the Bar: Define the delivery standard that transforms our bold vision into results.
  • Pressure-Test the Plan: Review and challenge project plans until they are realistic and practical.
  • Own the Risk: See the icebergs before the ship hits them; manage dependencies, not just status.
  • Enforce Fundamentals: Set ironclad expectations for scope, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Bake-In Change: Embed change management into how we operate and deliver.

Tiered Delivery Model & Capacity Management

  • Build a PM Tiered Model: Create a criteria-based system that scales delivery model approaches.
  • Flex Workforce: Design a fluid staffing model that taps into global, contractor, and internal talent.
  • Optimize Capacity: Ensure your best people are on the hardest problems at the right time.

Standardized, Integrated Delivery Toolkits

  • Build the Blueprint: Create standardized toolkits and models that enable global rigor.
  • Drive Adoption: Ensure tools are fit-for-purpose and used by every team, every day.
  • Iterate for Speed: Constantly reassess and sharpen the toolkit for incremental gains.

Coaching, Enablement, & Capability Building

  • Elevate the Craft: Mentor delivery leads to refine their artifacts into world-class blueprints.
  • Proactive Flow: Inspire a culture of ownership where teams anticipate and clear their own path.
  • Build Delivery Champions: Train and empower business leads to run projects with confidence.

Visibility, Communication, & Financial Discipline

  • Maximize Every Dollar: Maintain surgical precision over CapEx/OpEx to ensure optimal ROI.
