Job Summary

Summary of Position:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering unique internal training courses and programs for business units within tk Materials as well as coordinates employee participation in outside training programs. Duties include interaction with Subject Matter Experts, management, and HR to determine training needs, implementing training programs and reviewing feedback from previous training programs to determine success and improvement opportunities.

Location: Kennesaw, GA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $40,000 - 57,000

This newly created onsite role partners closely with the Training Manager to support the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess training needs and help prioritize initiatives
  • Partner with SMEs to develop training programs and content
  • Coordinate and deliver training using multiple methods (classroom, OJT, video, vendor-led)
  • Support annual training plans, scheduling, records, and logistics
  • Maintain training curriculum in the LMS and assist system users
  • Promote training opportunities and communicate schedules
  • Gather feedback and improve training effectiveness
  • Assist with training records, systems, and budget tracking

Qualifications

Minimum

  • 2+ years in a metal service center environment
  • SAP knowledge
  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1–3 years of training experience
  • LMS and web-based training tools experience
  • Graphic or creative content development experience
