CommBank’s Business, Institutional & Market Operations (BIMO) business is looking for an Associate Director/Manager level Trade professional to join and contribute to our strategic transformation program to help drive Trade Finance Operations and BIMO’s vision.
 

BIMO supports CBA’s global Institutional Banking & Markets division and CommSec, Australia’s leading online retail equities broker, with the processing, validation, settlement, reconciliation and investigation of inward/ outward real time payments, Trade Finance, Corporate loans and complex Financial Market products.
 

The Role.
You will contribute to and help drive a variety of change projects focussing on Trade Finance Operations. You will partner and collaborate across multiple business stakeholders to deliver project, change and transformation on time and to a high quality standard by documenting requirements, Leading migration for operations, managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user stories.


You will help analyse our Trade Finance structure and will collect information, documents and analyse business needs to identify opportunities to improve our operations and processes. You will organise and run workshops to drive business outcomes and recommend solutions and pathways to a range of business stakeholders

On any given day you will:

  • Assist with preparation, planning and execution of Trade Finance projects, changes and transformation initiatives.
  • Solve challenges to improve our operational processes and subsequently our customer’s experience.
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and provide detailed input to create better changes for our customers.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
You will have Global Markets, Treasury or Trade Finance product knowledge and will have experience in delivery and driving change across multiple  lines of business. You will be comfortable communicating and presenting to a large stakeholder cohort and will be skilled at identifying, planning and co-ordinating projects within a program to meet specific business needs.
 

You will also have:

  • Strong history of thinking strategically and challenging existing processes
  • Knowledge in Trade Finance processes , the trade settlement process, the documentation and systems used internationally to facilitate trade finance is desirable
  • Established skills documenting and analysing business processes in order to improve or enhance sustainability to produce business benefits
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships, through the delivery of exceptional service outcomes
