JOB DESCRIPTION

The Group Ground Operations Intern will support the Ground Operations team in day-to-day administrative and operational activities. The intern will gain practical exposure to airline ground operations while assisting with data management, reporting, documentation, coordination, and process improvement initiatives to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION

  • Assist the Ground Operations team with daily administrative and operational tasks.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of operational reports, records, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate operational requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring operational performance data and compiling reports.
  • Support the review and updating of standard operating procedures, manuals, and operational documentation.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions, and departmental activities.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document management while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives assigned by the Ground Operations team.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willing and able to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
  • Able to commit to the internship period as required by the university or company.
