Job Description Summary:
At The Coca-Cola Company, we are proud to be one of the world’s most recognized and respected brands, with a legacy spanning over 139 years and a portfolio of more than 200 brands enjoyed by millions globally. Our mission is simple yet powerful: refresh the world and make a difference.
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Sustainability, Mexico (Water Stewardship) to lead Coca-Cola’s water sustainability agenda in one of our most complex and strategic markets globally. This role is pivotal in advancing our global water goals and local aspirations across Mexico, a country that represents both the highest concentration of water-risk locations in the region and a critical opportunity for innovation, partnership, and impact at scale. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management discipline, data and analytics capability, and deep experience building multi-sector partnerships to deliver measurable outcomes.
If you are passionate about water stewardship, collaboration, and turning complexity into opportunity, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Lead the water sustainability strategy for Mexico, driving progress toward global commitments and local priorities across high-risk and priority watersheds.
- Manage water-related metrics, data analytics, and performance tracking, ensuring robust measurement, reporting, and insight generation to support decision-making and accountability.
- Oversee external partnerships with public-sector entities, NGOs, academic institutions, and private partners to scale water solutions and shared-value initiatives.
- Design and manage complex water stewardship projects, applying strong project management discipline to deliver results on time, within scope, and aligned with business needs.
- Serve as the primary water sustainability interface with Corporate and LATAM Public Affairs, Communications, Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships (PACS) teams, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and reporting standards.
- Identify innovation and partnership opportunities in water efficiency, replenishment, access, and watershed protection, positioning Mexico as a test-and-learn market for scalable solutions.
- Own and execute the Water Sustainability Annual Business Plan (ABP), including operational program delivery, budget management, and performance reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Hydrology, Public Policy, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
- 7–10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on water stewardship, sustainability, ESG, or natural resource management in complex environments.
- Strong expertise in water risk assessment, metrics, reporting frameworks, and data-driven performance management.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder partnerships with government entities, NGOs, and private-sector partners.
- Proven project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience translating data into insights and actionable strategies.
- Solid business acumen and ability to align sustainability initiatives with operational and reputational priorities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with credibility to engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
- English and Spanish fluency required.
What We’ll Do for You
- Global Exposure: Be part of a globally connected sustainability and PACS organization, contributing to water stewardship strategies across regions.
- Iconic Brands: Help protect and enhance one of the world’s most recognized brands through leadership in water sustainability.
- Learning & Development: Access leadership development programs, continuous learning opportunities, and global sustainability networks.
- Purpose-Driven Work: Play a meaningful role in addressing one of Mexico’s most critical environmental challenges while enabling long-term business resilience.
