Job Summary

Red Hat’s Global Field and Partner Learning Experience Design and Content team is looking to hire a new Learning Experience Designer to design, develop, and maintain instructional sound on-demand course content for our field associates and partners.  As part of this team you will be working with other roles within the Field and Partner Learning team to create learning journeys and to design and create amazing learning experiences focused on achieving business outcomes.  

What will you do:

  • Contribute to the best practices of learning science, instructional design, and user experience design for creating learning experiences that promote and assess skill development across sales, technical sales, customer success, services roles, as well as partners.

  • Design and develop learning experiences that can scale while still delivering on business outcomes. 

  • Consult with the Role Architects and Learning Experience Managers to understand the learning needs of the business.

  • Use data and analytics to inform the learning design and measure the effectiveness of different learning solutions.

  • Use agile development processes to produce high-quality, engaging learning experiences including eLearning, microlearning, video, podcasts, VILT, ILT, and blended learning. 

  • Partner with peer Learning Designers to create standardized processes, templates, and best practices.

What will you bring

  • Proven ability to work seamlessly with distributed internal and external cross-functional teams to achieve success in a sales enablement role.

  • Experience in working with agile learning principles, design thinking, and UX design

  • High levels of proficiency with industry-standard design software, Adobe Suite, and Articulate 360 applications are preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models. 

  • Proven ability to develop training that incorporates adult learning best practices, visual learning design, and interactive training elements. 

  • High proficiency in video editing and audio editing

  • High proficiency in modern, agile learning development methodologies.

  • A proven track record of success in environments that are subject to change and uncertainty.
