Role Summary:

The Operations Technician is responsible for executing operational tasks related to the disassembly, inspection, repair, testing, and maintenance of mechanical seals and associated equipment. They also provide support to QRC operations, technical assistance to the commercial team, and field service, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical seals.

  • Perform testing and maintenance of mechanical seals and related equipment.

  • Carry out field services as required.

  • Provide technical assistance to the sales team when needed (site visits, technical support, application review).

  • Conduct periodic visits to strategic customers for technical follow‑up and to strengthen the commercial relationship.

  • Prepare and present work reports and field service reports.

  • Comply with corporate standards, internal procedures, and regulations.

  • Ensure that workshop activities meet the established technical specifications.

  • Report progress, results, and feedback clearly and in a timely manner.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned according to operational needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School and Mechanical Technical Training.

  • Experience in mechanical operations and repair.

  • Strong ability to interpret technical documentation.

  • Basic knowledge of technical drawing.

  • Basic proficiency with computer tools (MS Office).

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Availability for field work and customer visits.

  • Communication skills for customer interaction.

  • Teamwork and professional ethics.

  • Positive attitude, accuracy, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Self-discipline and motivation.

  • Strong technical and operational skills.

  • Good practical ability and manual dexterity.

  • Basic capacity to identify, analyze, and solve problems.

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Must reside in Bahía Blanca.
