Job Description:

JR131520 BH Clinical Development Specialist

Responsible for clinical, technical and operations training, quality compliance, implementations and initiatives for the Behavioral Health Clinical Operations area. 

Location: This position will work remote in Florida.

How will you make an impact:

  • Facilitates group and individual policy and procedure training for new staff using varied media in virtual and global environments. 

  • Ensures evaluation tool components for subjective skills assessments comply with quality standards, follow company policies, and regulatory/accreditation standards. 

  • Assists with the development, implementation, reporting and tracking of Interrater Reliability testing and case studies. 

  • Ensures process and procedural changes are reflected in staff member documentation such as job aids and policies.

  • Assists with staff quality audits.

  • Supports new clinical initiatives and implementation such as training, workflows, workgroups, system updates and testing. 

  • Assists with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for implementations & systems updates.

Minimum requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS in Nursing or MS/MA degree in Behavioral Health or related field and a minimum of 5 years of combined experience in direct patient care and utilization review, quality, audit or clinical compliance; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. 

  • Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s) required. 

  • Current unrestricted license such as (but not limited to) LPC (as allowed by applicable state laws), LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Professional Counselor, in applicable state(s) required. 

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • A strong background of at least 7 years in a relevant field is highly desired.

  • For candidates located in Florida, the position offers remote work flexibility, supplemented by occasional travel.
