Behavioral Health Home (BHH)
The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Program Director to join the team in our Behavioral Health Home (BHH) program. Come join our team and help make a difference in our vibrant community!
Our BHH program provides care coordination to adults who have been diagnosed with a mental illness and who are covered by MaineCare. Our BHH care coordinators help clients consider their needs around housing, health care, finances, work, education, social and recreation time, and other areas that are important to them. Together clients and care coordinators use this information to develop a treatment plan made up of individual goals and preferences. The BHH works with natural supports, family members, doctors, nurses, social workers, discharge planners, pharmacists and others to offer guidance. Care coordinators also help people find services and navigate the complex and sometimes intimidating network of social services.
This Program Director role is a management position of a consultative, supervisory, clinical, and technical nature. The Program Director contributes to the accomplishment of the Agency’s mission through the leadership and oversight of the Behavioral Health Home includes oversight of programming, supervision of staff, and administrative coordination of the BHH.
This position will supervise the care coordinators, peers, nurse care manager, supervisor, and administrative support of BHH.
Schedule: Full-time 40 hour/week, salaried position
Location: Based in Portland and supporting greater Portland
