McKesson is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to help shape and scale the data foundation that supports strategic decision-making across our Technology organization.

In this role, you will lead the design of trusted, actionable data solutions that improve visibility into technology operations and support executive reporting, dashboards, and performance insights. You will partner with business and technology leaders to define data requirements, establish governance standards, and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytics that enable better decisions.

This is a senior-level individual contributor role with significant influence across data strategy, data quality, reporting architecture, and dashboard design. You will also help advance self-service analytics, data literacy, and the adoption of scalable BI capabilities in a regulated healthcare environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and lead the data foundation for Technology operating model reporting, executive dashboards, and decision support.
  • Translate business needs into clear data requirements, logical data models, KPIs, and scalable reporting solutions.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards related to data quality, access, controls, and appropriate use.
  • Partner with technology and business leaders to improve visibility into operational performance through dashboards and analytics.
  • Design durable reporting and visualization capabilities that deliver trusted, consistent insights across teams.
  • Lead complex BI initiatives from requirements gathering through solution design, delivery, and adoption.
  • Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes, data standards, and reporting effectiveness.
  • Assess emerging BI, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities and recommend practical enhancements to McKesson’s analytics landscape.
  • Mentor analysts and promote strong practices in data storytelling, governance, and solution delivery.
  • Support a data-driven culture by improving data literacy and encouraging effective use of BI tools and insights.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience leading enterprise or function-level business intelligence, analytics, or data governance initiatives.
  • Strong experience with data modeling, data quality management, reporting architecture, and dashboard development.
  • Experience translating business questions into data requirements, KPIs, and decision-support reporting.
  • Advanced experience working with BI tools (for example Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL-based data environments.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a regulated environment such as healthcare, life sciences, or other compliance-driven industries.
  • Experience establishing data governance principles, access controls, and data quality standards.
  • Knowledge of executive reporting, self-service analytics, and data literacy enablement.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, AI-enabled reporting, or emerging analytics technologies.
  • Strong program or project leadership skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.  In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

€81,000 - €135,000
