The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Senior Deputy Test Program Manager for Phantom Works, Test Beds, & Strategic Capabilities to join our team in Berkeley, MO or Richardson, TX. The selected candidate will lead the integration of the new Phantom Works organizations’ Event Generation and Test Execution groups with the advanced testbed capabilities, including strategic capability planning and testbed fleet oversight. In addition, this position will lead the support of the 757 FTB and Proprietary Program test beds, and Precision Engagement Systems weapons testing.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Enterprise Capability Leader (ECL) for the Enterprise Test Support Aircraft Capability
Responsible for fleet operations, capital investments, and repair & maintenance for asset portfolio valued at over $100M
Develop and lead BT&E testbed fleet strategy and planning
Develop and lead integration of BT&E test support aircraft fleet strategy
Develop and execute Maintenance and Airworthiness strategies for E-90, KA-300, BE-1900, CL-604, GL6000, 2xTA-4J and B757FTB
Lead ongoing modification planning for proprietary program testbeds
Provide Test Program Manager (TPM) support for Phantom Works Event Generation organization
Lead multi-site operations
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years of experience in engineering senior management
5+ years of experience managing or leading the planning and execution of programs and projects
5+ years of experience developing financial Investment plans including capital, repair & maintenance and/or special project funding
5+ years of experience performing test planning and execution for programs utilizing test support or test bed aircraft
5+ years of experience in Flight Test Operations
Experience working with and/or assisting with aircraft airworthiness certification (FAA Forms 8130-1, 8130-4, 8130-6, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors or Masters of Science in Engineering
10+ years experience in engineering management
Demonstrated departmental performance to plan experience, including staffing risk and opportunity identification and management
Demonstrated success leading teams in a matrix organization
Instrumentation and/or test system development work experience
Experience performing weapon and weapon sensor testing
Experience performing advanced data link testing
