Job Description:

The MarTech Data & Incubation Analyst leads the design, development, and deployment of predictive and prescriptive analytical models, rapid experimentation, and early‑stage validation in support of UPS’s Martech and Incubation initiatives. This role applies advanced analytics, ML modeling, and exploratory data analysis to shape emerging capabilities such as conversational UI, content intelligence, customer journey analytics, sentiment understanding, and propensity modeling.

This leader oversees both onshore and offshore development teams, establishes model‑development best practices, and translates complex analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations.

A core responsibility of this role is to solve marketer challenges through Automation and AI/ML, while owning delivery and execution of all MarTech incubation initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Convert loosely defined concepts into structured hypotheses, POCs, and test plans.
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and MarTech teams to assess feasibility, data requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Lead rapid experimentation cycles to validate desirability, feasibility, and viability.
  • Define early product requirements, success metrics, and recommendations for scale.
  • Maintain organizational awareness of emerging trends in LLMs, agentic AI, automation, and personalization.
  • Ensure responsible AI experimentation in partnership with privacy, governance, and legal stakeholders.
  • Distill complex findings into clear insights and communicate recommendations to senior leaders.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Aptitude

(Coding not required, but strong technical fluency is expected)

  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and model behavior.
  • Familiarity with LLM models and modern automation tooling.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototype evaluation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio).
  • Basic fluency with analytics concepts and platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Adobe Journey Analytics.
  • Comfort using browser development tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools).
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages is a plus.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and perform structured early‑stage discovery work.

The position is based in Alpharetta, Georgia and will require commuting to office.  Employer will not sponsor a visa for this position.  Must be currently in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself.
