WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will partner cross functionally with Assortment Planning, Merchandising Planning, Commercial Planning, Location Planning, Merchandising, Market Place Operations and Brand teams.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an Allocation Planner to support the tools, process, and training that will deliver solutions to the Allocation function. This person will build strong relationships and partner with Allocation, Buying, Planning, and Operations to create reporting that provide business insights needed to improve the consumer experience and help drive sales for the North America Stores business.
Ability to concisely present complex information/recommendations in meaningful terms to various audiences
A deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively.
Demonstrated experience in allocation planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning
Excellent working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Power Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
Strong understanding of merchandise, consumer, and FOP as it relates to Nike Direct strategy
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
This role will help build and deliver tools, reporting, and process that support the complex store ecosystem. This role acts as a partner to the Allocation function and will deliver improvements that elevates the business insights and capabilities of the function, while also supporting the work with cross-functional partners.
Help create consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core KPIs in daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboard formats that drive effective business decision-making.
Use Power BI and Tableau to analyze and visualize inventory data to support overarching Allocation deliverables.
Develop a strong understanding of Allocation and X-Functional business needs and create partnerships that deliver business solutions
Contribute to supporting standardization of tools used across allocation processes including hash release, seasonal readiness, and other CODE gates.
Help identify options to standardize, streamline, or simplify existing reporting and information used by Allocation teams
