The MCA & Engagement Programs Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.  This role is a key member of the Compliance Programs Team supporting the ICRM Global Functions team with implementing and executing new BAU transformation processes, MCA monitoring and oversight of the regulatory obligations, including operational and compliance risk management programs, and project management.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Drives the governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) for ICRM Global Functions.
  • Serves as MCA Coordinator for ICRM Global Function AU.
  • Completes monitoring and control testing for the ICRM Global Function MCA.
  • Challenges the design and implementation principles of Citi’s Transformation as they apply to the MCA & Engagement programs, proactively supporting and ensuring execution and integration of program outcomes.
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
  • Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the subfunction as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function; and, requires basic commercial awareness.
  • Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate.
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • 2-5 years of risk and control experience
  • Negotiation skills with internal and external parties
  • Knowledge of self-assessment process


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.  Advanced degree desirable.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
