Team/Role Overview

The Internal Audit (IA) Central Transformation team is an integral part of the broader IA Transformation team with a mandate to coordinate, drive and report on Internal Audit's assurance efforts across Citi's transformation.

The Lead Business Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for performing moderate to complex data analytics, reporting and process automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular and time sensitive analytics, visualizations, and reports for senior management and the Board.

  • Synthesize and communicate moderate to complex risk metrics.

  • Analyze, implement, and automate underlying data, data flows, and data controls to enhance processes and efficiency.

  • Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards.

  • Support the development and enhancement of metrics reporting processes within IA Transformation including the optimization / automation of reporting processes.

  • Prepare regulatory responses for IA Transformation related metrics.

  • Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking, and improving decision strategies.

  • Coordinate regulatory meetings specific to the broader IA Transformation teams.

  • Support the Leadership Team to drive efficiencies and simplification through the identification and implementation of automation opportunities.

  • Execute on other data driven tasks as assigned by the IA Leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years' experience of relevant experience in data analytics, data visualization and reporting.

  • Experience in Tableau, Power BI or equivalent preferred.

  • Skills in data analytics, databases, data quality.

  • Coding in Python, R, SAS (or related statistics programs) preferred, but not required.

  • Experience in SQL, VBA or other programming language is a plus.

  • Knowledge of audits is a plus, but not required.

  • Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills.

  • Effective project management skills.

  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple senior stakeholders

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred but is not required
