JR65622 Senior Industrial Engineer (project management)

We want to streamline OMT project management to better support the fast paced DID transfer, new technology, new site construction in a rapidly evolving memory industry worldwide. There’s strong need to better coordinate the resources to support those key initiatives, and to enable worldwide projects across US, Japan, Taiwan, India, and others.

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer (E4) who is highly organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator. You will be responsible for coordinating critical OMT projects relating to tech-node transfer, site expansion construction and special projects, to ensure that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together and to meet business targets, ensure timelines and within budgets. PMO will be looking forward to your talent to join the OMT/PMO to accelerate the transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Managing projects from kickoff to finish.
  • Understanding business plan, project scope and objectives with clearly defined goals, managing timelines, level set executive and working team expectations, and translate their requests/feedback into actionable tasks.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution, ensure resource availability and allocation, ensure projects delivery on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Work may encompass studies to determine the efficient sequence of operations and workflow. Recommends processes for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects and evaluates cost factors.
  • Manage and guide the cross-function team, set the direction and take the accountability, be the decision maker and trusted advisors to executive sponsors
  • Manage changes in project scope, and the impact on schedule and costs, measure project performance using appropriate KPI and tools
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation; Be a great communicator, presenting to executive and senior leaders on project progress, budget control, issues & escalation, problems & solution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor and/or advanced degree in Engineering or any related field. Secondary education or equivalent in business or management is preferred.
  • Fab engineering experience is a plus
  • PMP certificate is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in the operation / project management who knows how to build project briefs, timelines, and hit the ground running with minimal handholding.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills in English and be able to manage teams across multiple geographies.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experienced in supervising and mentoring different types of team members at different levels of experience and abilities.
  • Hands-on, self-driven, highly motivated, team-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Fast learner with a passion for processes and multi-tasking.
