Join us as we are hiring a Physician Assistant Clinical Specialist.

The IQVIA Physician Assistant Clinical Specialist – Ortho Specialty Role will be responsible for delivering education on Ethicon’s Wound Closure & Hemostasis platforms with potential to expand into the Ethicon Energy product lines.  In addition, The PACS will lead labs with DePuy Synthes Professional Education Programs for Ethicon’s Wound Closure and Biosurgery products.  The roll will require the PACS to reside within driving distance of the Palm Beach Gardens, FL area working in the DePuy Synthes Corporate Office.  Candidates must be a Certified Physician Assistant with extensive knowledge and background in Orthopedics, Joint/Spine with 7+ years of Operating Room experience.  This role is a Full-Time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily focused on Delivering Education on Ethicon’s Wound Closure & Hemostasis platforms with potential to expand into Energy products.
  • Lead labs with DePuy Synthes Professional Education Programs for Ethicon’s Wound Closure and Biosurgery products.
  • Be the Wound Closure representative and spokesperson for all customer visits and presentations in Palm Beach Gardens DePuy Synthes Corporate office.
  • Provide activity & lead generation information into Optimizer for Field Salesforce utilization.
  • Collaboration with Marketing on Product, Procedure & resource expansion. 
  • Educate the Field Sales Organization as needed.
  • Report to the DePuy Synthes Corporate office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL on a daily basis.
  • Potential Travel ~25% - depending on DePuy Synthes Education Schedule & Field Sale Organization Professional Education opportunities/programs.
  • Potential to lead labs at major conferences across the US.
  • Complete required administrative and other duties as assigned accurately and promptly.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Must be a certified physician assistant (PA-C)
  • Minimum of 7 Years of PA-C Operating Room Experience within the Orthopedics, Spine and/or Joint reconstruction
  • Military experience will be considered.
  • The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $200,000. The actual salary will vary based on factors like candidate qualifications and competencies. In addition, this role is eligible for quarterly bonus based on achieving training objectives.  Benefits include healthcare, 401K, paid time off, and more.

  • The Physician Assistant Clinical Specialist is expected to learn, know and follow all laws, regulations, policies and procedures relative to the position and as stated in the policy and procedure manuals. The PACS will maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times. Promptly communicate all legal/ethical questions or concerns to supervisor or to the Health Care Compliance and/or Legal Department.
  • The ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate with a high level of technical acumen in a hospital type environment.
  • Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have excellent relationship building skills.
  • Internal and external customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Ability to work in matrix and team structure.
  • A valid driver's license issued in the United States
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation, to include a review of your driving record history.
  • The ability to travel as needed.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory.
  • High level of attention to detail

The potential base pay range for this role is $190,000-$200,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
