Job Description Summary:

Schedule: Mon-Fri, no weekend & no holidays
· Hours of Operation: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Come join the Interventional Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery team! This role offers a dynamic environment where you can collaborate with team members to provide care to heart and lung surgery patients. You will provide case management support. In addition, you will use your clinical expertise to address triage and medical questions.

You will be joining a collaborative team of Nurses, Medical Assistants and Providers with an average of 15-20 patients during in-clinic days. A typical day will consist of follow-up care with patients and ensuring they are adhering to their care plans.

Orientation is typically 12 weeks and we have a great learning culture with tenured staff of 20+ years to support onboarding needs.

This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 years of bedside/floor nurse experience

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio. Knowledge in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. BLS Certification.
